Houses often have a main heat source in one room while the rest of the home can be uncomfortably cold. If this sounds familiar you are not alone, but did you know there is an economical solution to this?
A Heat Mover system is designed to distribute the excess heat that accumulates at ceiling level in the lounge and transfer it to other rooms within the home. Aerlite Heat Mover Systems are a cost effective solution and can limit the use of separate heaters in each room. A warm house is a healthier home, keeping nasty bugs and allergies at bay.
A thermostat controller is included in the 1, 2 and 3 room systems which automatically turns the system on and off without you having to leave the comfort of your seat. The systems also include adjustable outlet diffusers to allow you to balance the airflow to each room and insulated duct ensures minimal heat loss during the transfer process.

Q. Does this system cost much to run?
A. No, the Aerlite system is very economical to run. The cost for a 3 room Heat Mover system is as little as 2 cents per hour based on a 25c per kilowatt hour energy cost. Depending on your settings these systems would be running for approximately 4 hours per day.
Costs are based on a per kilowatt hour energy cost of 25c.
Q. How is the system controlled?
A. The thermostat is installed in your heat source room to control when the system will turn on and off.
This works by setting the dial on the thermostat to your ideal room temperature, once the temperature in your heat source room rises above your ideal room temperature then the system turns on and starts moving this excess heat to the other rooms in your home.
When the temperature drops below your ideal set temperature then the system turns itself off. The thermostat is included in the 1, 2 and 3 room systems.
Q. Where should I place the Diffusers in my home?
A. It is recommended that you install the inlet grille on the opposite side of the room to your heat source, this will allow the heated air to circulate throughout the heat source room before being moved into your other rooms.
The outlet diffusers should be placed centrally within the room that you wish to warm.
Q. What are the benefits of Insulated Ducting?
A. Insulated ducting is one of the most effective ways of moving warm air, offering minimal heat loss during the transfer process.
